Each year at our annual retreat, several awards are presented. They are as follows:
Each year, just prior to our Annual Retreat, a special layman is selected to be named the Layman of the Year for our American Baptist Men of PA and DE Region. This honor is bestowed on the layman after recommendations by other laypersons and members of the ministry have been reviewed by the selection committee. He is judged on:
- Personal Character
- Relationship to God, family and his fellow men
- Commitment to service and leadership in his church, his denomination and his community.

Attendance Awards
Each year at our retreat, three attendance awards are presented. They are as follows:
Past President's Award - Awarded to the church with the most total registrations at the retreat
President's Award - Awarded to the church with the most first time registrations at the retreat
Founder's Award - A special category for churches with fewer than 175 members. Awarded to the highest scoring church based on a weighted system taking into account total registrations, first time registrations and attendance by the church's Pastor.
